Located across the newly expanded LaGuardia Airport the Grand Central Condominiums provides a convenient home for travelers. At 13-stories, the residential condominium offers uninterrupted views of the airport and the Manhattan skyline. With 207 units varying in size from studios to 3-bedrooms apartments, it offers residents amenities, balconies and parking.

The units feature floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the sunlight. Furthermore, all units of the condominium will have balconies opening from living and dining spaces, becoming an extension of the living space for each residence.

In order to capitalize on the zoning restrictions of the site, a deck is added above the roof level of the adjacent A-Loft hotel providing a large open garden terrace for the residents. The residences sit on a 3-storey parking garage plinth with 225 parking spaces for cars and commuter vans serving the residences and long-term parking for travelers.

The façade consists of sound-insulating glazing and is complemented by deep projecting balconies with wood-look sunscreens that filter the sunlight and provide privacy. These screens enable natural ventilation and render the building’s exterior in a visually interesting pattern.
